box progress

Ok, so for the icons I did today, the guy prefers to keep his characters private so no icons today.
Instead here's a little bit of progress on the box....



The inks will be tightened and refined as I color it. It bleeds just a little more than I thought it would, but only when I linger with the nib. So, good learning experience so far.

My ballpoint was dying as I was doing this, so the lines are kinda... let's call them eclectic. XD
I kinda thought it was ruined so I went to town on it with a white prismacolor and gel pen. Somehow I kind of like the end result.
