frozen oceans - sketch

This sketch is by Justin Hernandez, I'm posting it because he's given me permission to elaborate on it, which I will be doing in future posts.

Done in response to the monthly challenge on http://mind-shade.deviantart.com/
This went at a snail's pace, but it's done, huzzah.

page 63, panel 4 inks

My workload's gotten heavier, and Justin's has lightened up a bit, so he's going to be joining me on the Elysion Age! I am EXTREMELY excited about this, since he is amazing. He'll be handling inking duties for now, starting with page 63.

Here's a sample sketched by me, inked by him.

Missed yesterday. I started a new job, and it took a lot out of me. I may miss days until I get used to the schedule, but posts will still be frequent.

life outside the fishbowl (progress shot2)

Didn't get quite as much done as I'd like, simply because I got indecisive about the exact design of the naga. I had him in my head, but didn't like it once I ended up putting it on paper. (Er, screen). So I tested a few things out, and I think I'm back on track.

sketchbook pages

is the larger post, as promised. Due to the hectic schedule of the con, I didn't get scans of ANY of the commissions I did. I was too busy keeping up with getting them done to worry about it, I suppose. ^_^;
SO have some sketchbook pages instead. These were done in what little downtime I had.

collab badges finished

Linework by Justin, colors by me. I actually botched the last ones, he had to re ink them. x_x I then made copies, better safe than sorry. And I learned from what went wrong with the last ones, which made these ones go quicker.
